Né au Teilleul (Manche).

XIXe-XXe siècles. Français. Peintre à la gouache, aquarelliste, dessinateur, illustrateur. Humoristique.

Il vécut et travailla à Paris. Il exposa à Paris, aux Salons des Indépendants et des Humoristes.

Il a collaboré à diverses publications, dont : 1890 La caricature, 1906 L'assiette au beurre, ainsi qu'aux Gil Blas illustré, Le Rire. Il a publié un album La Soirée Pioche, et illustré des ouvrages humoristiques : 1889 Gaietés du Conservatoire, 1930 Pâques fleuries, 1936 Contes à Mademoiselle Rosé.
