Né en 1863 à Châtenay (Hauts-de-Seine). Mort en 1930 à Roscoff (Finistère).

XIXe-XXe siècles. Français. Dessinateur humoriste, aquarelliste, illustrateur.

Il était le neveu du poète Sully-Prudhomme. Il fut élève de Paul Louis Collin, Paul Dubois, Henry Gervex. Il fit des expositions de ses œuvres à la Bodinière ( ?) en 1899 et 1900. Il écrivit des saynettes de théâtre.

Il se consacra presqu' exclusivement au dessin humoristique, souvent aquarelle. Il a collaboré à un grand nombre de périodiques illustrés : L'Art et la Mode, Le Courrier français, Gil Blas illustré. Lectures pour tous. Le Rire, La Vie parisienne, etc. Il a illustré des albums : Le corps de la femme. Broutilles parisiennes, etc. et Les Belles au Bois dont il était l'auteur. Il a illustré de nombreux livres, dont, de Mac Nab : Chansons du Chat noir en 1890, Nouvelles Chansons du Chat noir en 1892, Lettres de femmes de Marcel Prévost en 1895. Il a contribué à l'illustration des Contes de Charles Perrault en 1897.
