Forain, Caran d'Ache, Willette, Charles Léandre, Leonetto Cappiello, Abel Faivre, Gerbault, Jeanniot, Lucien Metivet, Lourdey, Roedel, Hermann Paul, Sem, Henry Somm, Toulouse-Lautrec, Felix Vallotton, Jean Veber, Charly, Delaw, Dépaquît, Does, Fernand Fau, Godefroy, Huard, Léonnec, Meunier, Benjamin Rabier, Roubille, etc., etc. Pliais, Auriol, Tristan Bernard, Brieux, Bringer, Deschaumes, Pawlowski, Jules Renard, Pierre Veber, Willy, etc. etc.,

The greatest success obtained for twenty years by a publication has been that of the newspaper Le Rire. It is there an indisputable fact, which no one does not dispute, not abroad than in France, and we can add that, contrary to what too often occurs, the success of Le Rire was not nor the effect of a momentary snobbery or a call to coarse instincts, but, on the contrary, the result of a real and continuous effort, unceasingly renewed. The result of this effort is translated very manifest way besides when one divides into sheets the collection of Le Rire since its beginnings.

One is surprised how much is remained alive and young person, beside the purely whimsical part, the satirical part and of topicality. It is, in a form amusing and often even with a true philosophical range, the history of these six last years that one re-examines and revels, interpreted, by artists of first order.

At present, Le Rire managed to reach a sale of more than One hundred thousand specimens each week, in spite of innumerable and coarse counterfeits that its success caused and who did nothing but better show its superiority. According to the requests which reach us unceasingly, we saw how much, among the new readers, regretted being able to get the complete collection of Le Rire, of which the first years were exhausted.

We were thus solved, some expensive that that was, to reconstitute a few hundreds of complete collections which we put on sale as of today energy of the creation of the newspaper (November 1894) to October 31, 1900. This collection forms six enormous volumes connected containing in their five thousand pages nearly 700 drawings colors, more than 10,000 in black and "to innumerable amusing articles of the Masters of French and foreign humour.

To facilitate acquisition of it, we accept the payment of this collection in 6 months at a rate of ten francs per month (the cash 10 0/0 of handing-over).

To receive the collection to simply send to Mr. Felix Juven, director of Le Rire, 122, street Réaumur, Paris, a request thus made out Want to address the collection of Le Rire forming to me six volumes connected to the price of sixty francs, which I will pay ten francs with the reception of volumes, and balances it at a rate of ten francs per month, on presentation of a postal receipt. NAME AND FIRST NAMES, RESIDENCE, SIGNATURE all other information, to address itself to the Management of the Le Rire - 122, street Réaumur, Paris.
