Snobism, also known as Chez Larue.
Larues Restaurant - Fashionable and expensive bistro at the corner of the rue Royale and the place de la Madeleine.
Dr. Gabriel Tapié de Céleyran (Lautrecs cousin) and Madam Schuffly are seated at a table in the restaurant; in the background is the womans jealous admirer (for whom the model was Maurice Guibert) and a waiter, the caption was supplied by Tristan Bernard.
