Cape Manon, à petites manches courtes en tulle noir sur taffetas noir, garnie de rubans de taffetas cousus seulement en haut, un ruban passant autour des épaules simule le capuchon, encolure en petits coulissés. Le tulle va jusqu'au bas du manteau entre la doublure et le dernier ruban, et une grosse cordelière noire roulottée dans le bas accentue le mouvement crinoline. Fig 2. (Redfern). Cape Manon, short sleeves on black tulle and black taffeta, topped with taffeta ribbons sewn only at the top, a ribbon from around the shoulders simulates the cape, with a small coulissés neckline. The tulle goes to the bottom of the mantle between the liner and the last ruffle, and a large corded black rolled hem at the bottom accentuates the movement of the crinoline. Fig 2. (Redfern).
